Coronavirus In India: India on Saturday added yet another grim milestone to its coronavirus numbers, as the overall tally jumped past 4 million mark. Even though India has maintained an incredibly convincing recovery rate, given its large population  increased testing rate, there are, however, certain alarming facts that we cannot overlook. India clocked fastest one million to reach 4 million mark It took just 13 days for India to reach 4 million mark from three million, implying over one million cases rose in a period of less than two weeks. Since last few weeks India has been recording continuous spike in its daily cases. In Saturday’s report by Health Ministry a single-day spike of 86,432 new cases  was witnessed. India has recorded 69,561 deaths so far with 1,089 deaths reported in the last 24 hours. United States has the maximum number of deaths, followed by Brazil and then India. India set to overtake Brazil at second spot globally in terms of Covid-19 Cases: India which is globally the third worst hit country has 4,023,179 Covid-19 cases overall, while Brazil has 4,091,801 cases in total. With over 85k new cases per day, India is heading to become the country with the second highest number of Covid-19 cases after the US, replacing Brazil.
