Health Department Warns Of Problems Caused By Mosquito Diseases Amid Covid Pandemic

New Delhi: During the monsoon season catching a mosquito-borne disease alongside Corona can be very difficult. The warning was issued by the health ministry on Tuesday, alongside cautioning people. The ministry asked to be cautious otherwise, the infection can prove dangerous. The Ministry emphasized taking more precautions till the monsoon returns.
Lav Aggarwal, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Health said, "The risk of mosquitoes, water-borne diseases is high during the monsoon. In such a situation, the risk of Dengue, Malaria, Chikungunya is high. It is necessary to avoid this because with covid these diseases can prove to be very dangerous."
It is generally seen that mosquito-borne diseases increase during the monsoon season. The number of Dengue and Malaria cases in particular increase. These diseases reduce the immune system functionality. If the person gets Corona positive in the midst of such diseases, then difficulties can increase for the patient. Therefore, it is important to avoid any kind of infection during the monsoon season.

Such as use mosquito nets in the house, do not allow water to stagnate in and around the house, take special care of cleanliness, use mosquito repellent before leaving the house, or even while inside and during monsoon Wear full sleeve clothing.
