Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Wednesday informed that over one crore youngsters between 15-18 age group are now fully vaccinated against Covid-19 in the country.

Jharkhand continued to register a decline in fresh COVID-19 cases as 264 people tested positive for the infection on Saturday, 16 less than the previous day, taking the state's caseload to 4,32,169, a health bulletin said.
The death toll rose to 5,314 as one more patient succumbed to the infection in Dhanbad, it said.
The state had recorded 280 cases and two deaths on Tuesday.
Jharkhand now has 2,272 active cases, while 4,24,583 people have recovered from the disease so far, including 412 on Tuesday, the bulletin said.
The recovery rate stood at 98.24 per cent, while the mortality rate was at 1.22 per cent.
The administration has tested about 2.02 crore samples for COVID-19 thus far, including 49,883 in the last 24 hours.

With the daily caseload of Coronavirus showing a sustained declining trend, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that government continues to provide support to states and UTs to enhance preparedness and response capacities against Covid-19 and other public health emergencies.
With the reopening of schools, raising concern over the safety of children below 15 years of age, Health Minister Mandaviya said that the government will take a decision to vaccinate this group based on suggestions of an expert group, he said.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra recorded 6,107 new coronavirus cases, 329 less than a day ago, and 57 fresh deaths linked to the infection, while 16,035 more patients recovered from the disease.
With these additions, the overall tally of COVID-19 cases increased to 78,16,243, while the death toll jumped to 1,43,155.
Delhi registered 1,114 fresh Covid cases, a marginal decline from 1,151 cases reported on previous day, as well as another 12 deaths.
Covid positivity rate has come down to 2.28 per cent, while the active cases has also reduced to 6,908. With the recovery rate climbing to 98.21 per cent, the active cases rate stands at 0.37 per cent while the death rate continues at 1.41 per cent.
The slide in daily Covid cases in Karnataka continued on Tuesday as the state reported 4,452 cases, compared to 6,151 new infections on Monday. Meanwhile, 51 people succumbed to the lethal virus in the last 24 hours.
Furthermore, Gujarat reported 2,502 fresh Covid-19 infections, taking the overall caseload to 12,05,652. 28 deaths were also recorded in the state, taking the death toll to 10,716.
