Congress former President Sonia Gandhi has hit out at the centre at the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting on Thursday evening.
Sonia Gandhi attacked the government saying Mahatma Gandhi's legacy is under threat from those in power in Delhi.
"Organisations which never fought for freedom opposed Mahatma Gandhi bitterly, created toxic atmosphere that led to assassination," Sonia Gandhi said at the party meeting, adding that Mahatama Gandhi continues to be source of inspiration.
"Let's individually, collectively move with resolve to meet challenges party faces with a renewed sense of urgency," the Congress leader said.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that the party will strenghten the organisation in 2025, will fill vacant posts in party and implement Udaipur Declaration.
Kharge said that BJP wants to capture all constitutional institutions like Election Commission, but added that the party will continue to fight this battle.
