Coronavirus Cases In Delhi: List And Contact Information Of 14 Private Hospitals Turned Covid-Only Facility

Coronavirus Surge: Delhi saw a single-day high of 11,491 active coronavirus cases on Monday. Another alarming situation for Delhi is that the coronavirus positivity rate rose from 9.43% to 12.44% in a span of 24 hours.

Coronavirus Surge: India is looking at a massive surge in the number of coronavirus cases as every day there is a spike in the numbers of new covid cases. While, certain states have taken precautionary measures like corona curfew, curtailing events, mini lockdown etc the number of cases keep on rising. On Monday, in India, the total cases of coronavirus reported in a 24-hour span were nearly 1.60 lakh, which was a single day since the start of the pandemic. In the process, India also reached the second spot, globally, in terms of active coronavirus cases only to remain after the US.

Meanwhile, the national capital Delhi also saw a single-day high of 11,491 active coronavirus cases. Another alarming situation for Delhi was that the coronavirus positivity rate rose from 9.43% to 12.44% in a span of 24 hours, which is to be capped at 5% as per the centre's target rate.

This resulted in prompt action from the Delhi Chief Minister who appealed that people follow the covid protocols strictly.

In order to increase the number of beds in Delhi, 14 AAP government announced 14 private health facilities are as Covid-only hospitals.
