Sony launched the PlayStation Portal remote player last year with the aim of delivering a console-quality gaming experience on a handheld device. Now, Sony is releasing a new software update for the PS Portal that will introduce enhancements in the audio experience for gamers. The enhancements
Enhancements In Audio Experience
- Adjustment of speaker output to ensure the volume is significantly reduced when set to the minimum level.
- You can now customise your PlayStation Link device settings directly from the PS Portal Settings menu, enabling you to fine-tune both the volume and sidetone levels.
Once the update is available, PlayStation Plus Premium members can join a beta for cloud streaming on PS Portal. This feature allows select PS5 games from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog to be streamed directly from PlayStation's servers, eliminating the need for a PS5 console.
As Cloud Streaming (Beta) on PS Portal is still in its testing phase, the features available during the beta period are subject to change and may not represent the final version of the service.
The Cloud Streaming (Beta) feature for PS Portal will be accessible through the PlayStation Plus Premium plan and will be available in the following regions: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Cyprus, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
