GTA On Netflix? GTA III, GTA: Vice City, GTA: San Andreas Coming To Netflix Games In December

This development coincides with the impending launch of Grand Theft Auto’s next instalment, GTA 6.

In a recent announcement on Wednesday, Netflix officially disclosed its collaboration with Rockstar Games to introduce three immensely popular video games from the Grand Theft Auto Series to its subscriber base. Commencing December 14, Netflix users will have the exclusive opportunity to engage with GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas on their Android and iOS smartphones and tablets at no additional cost.

Enthusiastic gamers can now pre-register for their preferred game through the Google Play store and Apple's App Store, starting today.

The three featured titles, namely GTA III – Netflix (1.7 GB), GTA: San Andreas – Netflix (2.9 GB), and GTA: Vice City – Netflix (2.8 GB), have been made available on both the Google Play store and App Store by Netflix. Notably, iPhones and iPads necessitate a device equipped with an A12 Bionic chip or a newer version, coupled with iOS 16/iPadOS 16 for optimal gameplay. However, the list of Android devices supporting these titles remains undisclosed at present.

It is worth noting that Rockstar Games had previously released Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition for PCs and consoles in November 2021. Netflix users now gain complimentary access to these games on their smartphones and tablets.

This development coincides with the impending launch of Grand Theft Auto’s next instalment, GTA 6. Rockstar Games, celebrating its 25th anniversary, recently announced the imminent release of the first trailer for the highly anticipated GTA 6.

GTA 6: What We Know So Far

Rockstar Games officially unveiled the game's development in February 2022, marking the end of a long period of suspense and heightening excitement among fans.

Approximately seven months following the official announcement, leaks surfaced, reportedly originating from an early build of the game. Rockstar Games promptly issued an official response to address the frenzy caused by these leaks. However, despite the statement, conjectures persist regarding the game's features and narrative. One prevailing rumour suggests that GTA 6 will introduce two playable protagonists, Jason and Lucia, drawing inspiration from the notorious real-life criminal duo Bonnie and Clyde.

In addition, there are whispers about the game's expansive virtual world, which is said to not only encompass a contemporary reimagining of Vice City, inspired by Miami, but also extend into South American regions, including Brazil. During a recent financial earnings call from Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, a potential release window for GTA 6 was hinted at, pointing to a timeframe between 2024 and 2025.

Corroborating these indications, Take-Two Interactive has reiterated a similar release window, providing a more precise estimate. As anticipation and speculation surrounding GTA 6 continue to build, the gaming community eagerly awaits additional details on this highly awaited title.
