Rishi Kapoor passed away on Thursday(April 30, 2020) in Mumbai following his two years long battle to cancer.

The news of Rishi Kapoor’s sudden demise has not only shook the Bollywood industry but across borders too! Pakistani actress Saba Qamar who played late Irrfan Khan’s wife in ‘Hindi Medium’ mourned the death of Bollywood veteran as she paid an emotional tribute to him on social media. Saba shared an unseen video of Rishi Kapoor with wife Neetu praising the Pak actress, in the video he also asks her why she isn't in the sequel Angrezi Medium. Neetu Kapoor too insisted that she like Saba a lot and is simply impressed with her act. She also mentioned that she watches all her Pakistani serials and films. Sharing this video on her Instagram, Saba wrote: 2020 continues to take the beauty of this world away from us 🥺 Another day, another big loss. Words may not suffice to express the heartfelt sorrow that I feel right now. I didn't ever get a chance to meet Sir #RishiKapoor in person but I will forever treasure these golden words said by him in this video. Prayers and fond memories are what we have to remember our dearly departed. My most heartfelt condolences to the entire Kapoor family, May Allah give them strength to bear this loss💔 RIP Sir #RishiKapoor 🖤. Earlier, Saba had also shared a heartfelt post for her Hindi Medium co-star Irrfan Khan, the day he passed away. She wrote, "Deeply disturbed to hear about the passing of Irrfan Khan. It feels like yesterday coming back from the sets of Hindi Medium. You taught me a lot as an actor and a mentor. Such a brilliant actor gone too soon. I'm at a loss for words.  RIP Raj Yours Only, Meeta."

Deeply disturbed to hear about the passing of Irrfan Khan. I still can’t absorb the news. It feels like yesterday coming back from the sets of Hindi Medium.
