Vivek Agnihotri Slams People For Criticising 'The Kashmir Files'

There has been a lot of controversy about ‘The Kashmir Files’, and it has been described as a polarising film.

New Delhi: ‘The Kashmir Files’, a film by Vivek Agnihotri, has gotten an overwhelmingly good reception from critics and readers alike. Almost everyone, from celebrities to political leaders to reviewers, has something positive to say about the historical film. Even yet, there are many who are critical of the film, but filmmaker Vivek has opted to dismiss their criticisms.

There has been a lot of controversy about The Kashmir Files, and it has been described as a polarising film. In Vivek's opinion, it's wonderful that people are making a distinction between good and evil.

Vivek Agnihotri, in an interview with ETimes, responded to the same issue by saying, “I think it's a great social service. It's a great service to democracy that you polarise between the evil and the good. Actually, I will not use the word polarise, I would say differentiate and segment people who are pro humanity, people who believe in human values and human rights, and the people who are from the terrorism industry. People who give ideological or intellectual or media support to terrorists.”

Vivek, when asked whether he had anything to say to the critics of the film, said, “Why should I say anything to terrorists?”

Along with Vivek Oberoi, Anupam Kher has been criticising the film's detractors for labelling The Kashmir Files a propaganda piece. The elderly actor, who plays Pushkar Nath Pandit in the film, uploaded a video of people being slain during the Kashmir uprising in the 1990s.

What's your real opinion of the movie?
