Vijay Deverakonda Shares New 'Liger' Poster Announcing Trailer Release

Liger starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday is slated to release on August 25, 2022.

New Delhi: Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday starrer 'Liger' has been the talk of the town ever since it made headlines with its announcement. Now after creating a storm with its first look poster featuring Vijay with nothing on and then with Akdi Padki song, makers have now launched a second look poster of the much-anticipated film.

Vijay Deverakonda shared the poster on his official Twitter account and wrote, "Just 2 more days to Go! #LigerTrailer." In the poster, we see Vijay standing in a circle of fire with a stick in his hand as he looks down. 

On Monday, the actor shared a picture of himself from the film and captioned it "In 3 Days "Havoc". In the monochrome picture, we see a hammer and swords/knives in the backdrop with Vijay also holding a weapon in his hand looking down.

The trailer of 'Liger' will release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada on July 21 although the film has been simultaneously shot in Hindi and Telugu.

'Liger' is touted to be a pan-India film. With 'Liger', Vijay is also making his Hindi film debut.

Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Makarand Deshpande and Getup Srinu will also star in the movie besides Ananya Panday and Vijay Deverakonda. Veteran boxing champion Mike Tyson will appear in a special role in the film making 'Liger' his Indian film debut.

Written, directed and produced by Puri Jagannadh is co-produced by Karan Johar and Charmme Kaur. The film is slated to release on August 25, 2022.
