Varun Dhawan's Driver Manoj Sahu Dies Due To Heart Attack, Actor Mourns The Loss
The news was confirmed by Varun Dhawan's management team on social media. Manoj was apparently a trusted driver of the Dhawan family for many years.
In an unfortunate incident, Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan's driver Manoj Sahu passed away on Tuesday due to a heart attack. Varun was shooting at the Mehboob Studio in Bandra when his driver Manoj suffered from a heart attack.
According to a report in a news portal, Manoj who was extremely close to Varun Dhawan apparently drove the actor to Mehboob Studio and suddenly complained of chest pain and he got a heart attack. While the actor and his crew rushed him to the nearby hospital(Lilavati), he was declared dead. The 40-year-old driver breathed his last at 5.30 pm on Tuesday(January 19,2022).
Varun too rushed to the hospital and took care of all the formalities along with his team after being at the hospital for a long time, the actor was later seen leaving the hospital in his car, wearing a protective face mask.
According to ETimes, Dr Ajay Panday from Lilavati hospital confirmed the news and said, “Yes, unfortunately. My condolence to the family.”
The news was also confirmed by Varun's management team on social media. Manoj was apparently a trusted driver of the Dhawan family for many years.
Reportedly, Varun Dhawan is extremely saddened by the loss as he was very close to Manoj. According to The Times of India, Varun's father David Dhawan spoke to his son and promised to look after the deceased family.
On the work front, Varun will be next seen in Bhediya alongside Kriti Sanon. The film, helmed by Amar Kaushik, is releasing on November 25, 2022.
