New Delhi: Referred to as the ‘First Superstar’ of India, Rajesh Khanna was born on December 29, 1942. The superstar left for his heavenly abode on July 28, 2012, at the age of 69. Today marks his 78^th birthday. His daughter Twinkle Khanna who also celebrates her birthday today. She took to her social media and shared a heartfelt note remembering her father. "He told my mother that I was the best present she could have ever given him as I entered the world, feet first, on his 31st birthday. He called me Tina Baba, never baby, and though I didn't realise it at that point, my upbringing was different from all the other young girls around me," she writes of "the only man who had the power to break my heart."

As Twinkle celebrates her birthday today, her husband Akshay Kumar took to his Instagram account and shared a picture with a caption saying, “Here's to another year of questionable life decisions. But I'm so glad I get to make all of them with you. Happy birthday Tina!”

Twinkle's last movie appearance was in ‘Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega’ in the year 2001. Though she quit showbiz post that, she has outshone herself in every other field. She became India's highest-selling woman writer for ‘Mrs. Funnybones’ to being a film producer and a newspaper columnist, the diva has done it all and made her family and loved ones proud of the achievements.
