The makers of the show had to replace Tanmay as children below the age of ten are not allowed to shoot on the sets. While Tanmay was shooting for 'Yeh Rishta' from Alwar, the creative wanted Kairav's scenes with Naira and Kartik and hence, they had to take the big decision.

Tanmay recently welcomed a new member into his family. He became a big brother of a baby girl. The child artist shared a picture with his sister on Instagram along with the caption, "My Cutie Pie Sister. Thank u Mama n Mami." The account is managed by his parents.

He said that he would miss Shivangi and Mohsin, who played his parents in 'Yeh Rishta'.  He also thanked the producer Rajan Shahi for giving him an opportunity to play Kairav.
