An upset fan decided to end her life by slitting her wrist. A fan page of the show on social media, shared a screenshot of the conversation with a fan's sibling, who shared a picture of an injured hand and wrote, "My sister did. See."

Actress Sonia Kour, who plays the role of Jasmeet on Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, shared the picture on her Instagram stories and requested all the fans not to take such a step.

She wrote, "Please don't do this. It's my humble request to #YRHPK fans. I know you guys are with us and I am so proud of you all but please don't take such kind of step."

Well, with so many requests from fans, it will now be interesting to see whether the show gets an extension or not?
