Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai SPIN-OFF: Shivangi Joshi aka Naira introduces Mishti (WATCH VIDEO)

New Delhi: Star Plus’ popular show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ starring Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan is all set to get its own spin-off. While the makers are yet to reveal the title of the show, we already know that TV heartthrob Shaheer Sheikh and ‘Tu Suraj Main Sanjh Piyaji’ fame actress Rhea Sharma are playing the leads. The channel airing the show has released a small video where Shivangi aka Naira can be seen asking the fans to remember a character from YRKKH. Rhea Sharma to romance Shaheer Sheikh in 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' spin-off! We see glimpses of younger Mishti in the video and Shivangi even said that she will be soon part of the Star Parivaar. For the uninitiated, Aarnaa Sharma played the role of Mishti aka Naman and Karishma’s daughter in the show. Check out the video!

‘Yeh Rishta’, which was launched in 2009, is one of the most loved shows on the small screen. The daily soap has completed over 2800 episodes and is still going strong. The show initially focused on the story of Naitik (Karan Mehra) and Akshara (Hina Khan) and the plot later shifted to their daughter Naira (Shivangi Joshi). The casting process for YRKKH’s spin-off is currently underway and the makers have already roped in Sangeeta Kapure and Chaitrali Gupte. Gossip mills are also buzzing with the rumours that ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’ actress Rupal Patel has also been approached for the upcoming show. While Ishqbaaaz’s spin-off ‘Dil Bole Oberoi’ was merged with the original show in five months, Kumkum Bhagya’s spin-off ‘Kundali Bhagya’ is a TRP topper and continues to fetch impressive ratings every week.
