Star Plus' show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' aired it's 3000th episode on Wednesday and the show which initially had Hina Khan-Karan Mehra as the lead protagonists which were taken over by Mohsin Khan-Shivangi Joshi 3 years ago, has been topping the Barc TRP charts lately

Mumbai: The popular television show "Yeh Rishta Kya Khelata Hai" which airs on Star Plus, has completed 3000 episodes, and the cast celebrated the feat by sitting down together to watch the  show. The saas-bahu drama had gone on air on September 11, 2008. The show has witnessed a lot of changes over 11 years. It begun with the story of Akshara and Naitik, played by Hina Khan and Karan Mehra, respectively. Later, it took multiple leaps. Now, "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" stars Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan in lead roles. On achieving this milestone, the cast and crew had a grand bash. [swipe to view all pics below!]

Shivangi and Mohsin even took to Instagram to thank fans and the team, especially producer Rajan Shahi, for all the love. "Congratulations to the entire team of 'Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' I really feel fortunate to be an integral part it and blessed to work with such a great team.. Thankyou Rajan Shahi sir for everything...I will always make you proud," Shivangi wrote.
