'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' actor Karan Patel & Ankita Bhargava have become parents of a baby girl.

New Delhi: It’s time to send congratulatory messages to TV actor Karan Patel and his wife Ankita Bhargava as they have become parents. Karan, who is fondly known for his role of Raman Bhalla in 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein', has welcomed a little bundle of joy into his life. Patel’s wife Ankita has given birth to a baby girl on Saturday (December 14). Saas Bahu Aur Saazish is the first one to reveal the good news to the fans. The couple got married on May 3, 2015 in the presence of their loved ones. Karan had confirmed Ankita's pregnancy last month in an interview. The 'Kasturi' actor had said that his wife was giving him the greatest birthday gift.
"Am numb overjoyed and a little intimidated the only soul who has given me such emotions all at one go, Ankita is doing well and our families would like to thank each and everyone who have loved us and continue to bless us," Karan said in a statement. For the uninitiated, Karan and Ankita were set to become parents last year and they announced the good news in full filmy style. However, Ankita unfortunately suffered a miscarriage. On the professional front, Karan recently made a return to 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein'. The show co-starring Divyanka Tripathi will go off air on December 18. 'YHM' will be replaced by its spin-off titled 'Yeh Hai Chahatein'.
