Bigg Boss 12 was launched with great expectations at 9pm slot instead of the late nigh 10:30pm slot but the twelfth season of the controversial reality failed to impress the fans. Although, BB 12 did create buzz on social media but the TRPs of the show were dismal. The show couldn’t generate a TRP of plus 2 on weekdays as it faced stiff competition from Kaun Banega Crorepati 10, Kumkum Bhagya and Kundali Bhagya. Despite Salman’s presence and much hype, the show was not successful in keeping the viewers hooked to their television sets. The channel had to shift DKD 3 to weekend slot after its poor performance on weekdays at 8:30pm slot. Although, the show did see a rise in its TRPs on weekend, it couldn’t repeat the success of previous seasons.
