Woah! Ekta Kapoor to bring a new season of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii?

New Delhi: Ekta Kapoor is called as the queen of Indian television for a reason. The TV Czarina is dominating the rating charts with all her show, be it Naagin 3, Kundali Bhagya, Kumkam Bhagya or Yeh Hai Mohabbatein doing extremely well and leading their respective time slots. Her supernatural show Naagin 3 starring Surbhi Jyoti, Pearl V Puri and Anita Hassanandani has set the ratings on fire since the past three weeks. Ekta, who has recently launched Dil Hi To Hai, is set to bring back her popular romantic drama Kasauti Zindagii Kay which originally featured Shweta Tiwari and Cezanne Khan in lead roles. It seems Kausati is the not only popular show she will bring back, if a latest report in a leading daily is to go by. The report in the daily suggested that Kapoor is planning to bring back her evergreen show — Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, which ran for over eight years on Star Plus. The daily drama featured Sakshi Tanwar and Kiran Kiran Karmarkar in the respective roles of Parvati and Om. KGGK made Sakshi Tanwar made a household name and her character of a ‘Adarsh bahu’ was everyone’s favorite. A source close to Ekta Kapoor told DNA that the new season of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii will take the story of Aagrwal family ahead. Although, the star cats is yet to finalised, Sakshi will make an appearance on the show, the report added. “She will be the narrator and set the content for the first few episodes. However, the makers are yet to take a call on whether it will air on TV or Ekta’s digital platform,” the source told the daily. Ram and Sakshi also starred in Ekta’s web series Karrle Tu Bhi Mohabbat, which was critically acclaimed. The series ran for two seasons on Alt Balaji, Ekta’s digital platform.
