New Delhi: Popular Pakistani singer Shazia Manzoor responded angrily to a comedian who made a crude joke about her. Comedian Sherry Nanha made a joke about them getting married and going on a honeymoon, which resulted in Shazia hitting him several times on the show Public Demand.

As Shazia appeared on the show as a guest, Sherry asked her, "After we get married, Shazia, I will immediately take you to Monte Carlo for our honeymoon. Could you let me know which class you want to attend?” An enraged Shazia replied to it by saying, "Last time I portrayed my act as a prank and covered it up, but this time, I am serious, Is this how you talk with the ladies? you are saying 'honeymoon'. This is how you talk to women?"

Shazia started hitting Sherry as she was saying this, and other people on the set intervened to break up the fight. Sherry, still dazed, took more of the thrashing before Shazia was forcefully restrained from hitting him. While stopping Shazia from becoming more physical, host Mohsin Abbas Haider cautioned Sherry to follow the script rather than improvising with crude, obscene remarks.

Shazia used the phrase "last time" to refer to the precious time she physically tricked Mohsin. This time, though, she lost it when someone made fun of her, became aggressive, and walked off the set right away, vowing never to return. A video published by an X handle shows this sequence of events.

Netizens React

In the video post's comment area, X users responded right away. Many wondered if the whole thing was staged to attract more attention. "Scripted hoga (must be scripted)," remarked one user. One more commented, "Scripted h kya?" (Is this preplanned?). "Probably, that has been produced or adapted for the stage and contrived for a desired impression! #Scripted," commented a third user.
