Mythological show Ramayan has become talk of the town, ever since it went on the re-run during the on-going lockdown period. The show is amongst the most searched words on social media and is trending actively. And as a result, the characters specially lead actors playing Ram, Sita and Lakshman- Arun Govil, Dipika Chikhlia and Sunil Lahri have become social media users’ hot topic.

Fans are curious to know every detail about them now, recently Dipika Chikhila’s real life wedding pic went viral and now  internet is drooling over another throwback pic of the actress with her co-star Sunil Lahri.

Sunil Lahri who essayed Lakshman's character is very much active on social media these days and keeps reminiscing old memories on his Instagram account.

The actor recently shared a picture with Dipika Chikhlia, who played Sita. In the picture, the duo looked like a romantic couple, interestingly it was from a show much before Ramayan in which they starred together.

He captioned the picture as: "Myself and Deepika ji in one of the serial before Ramayan (sic)"


Soon as Sunil shared the pic, fans went gaga as the actor plays Dipika's brother-in-law in Ramayan and it was a sweet surprise for fans to see them once as an onscreen couple.

Later on Dipika took to her Instagram story to reveal that it was from the show ‘Vikram Aur Betaal’ which was another popular show back in the 80s. Interestingly, Arun Govil who plays lord Ram in Ramayan essayed the lead role of king Vikramaditya in ‘Vikram Aur Betaal’.
