Jheel Mehta on her wedding

In conversation with ETimes, Jheel shared her excitement, saying, "I’ve been dreaming about this day for what feels like forever, and the reality of it being so close is almost surreal."

The couple plans to celebrate their union with a wedding that perfectly balances tradition with modernity. Jheel explained, "Our wedding is designed to be a beautiful blend of tradition and modernity. We wanted to honour our cultural roots while incorporating contemporary elements that are meaningful to us as a couple."

Jheel has no wedding jitters

In contrast to the typical pre-wedding nerves, Jheel seems remarkably calm and at ease. She shared, "It's honestly been such an exciting journey—I don't have any of the jitters people typically talk about. I think it's because I feel so sure and happy about this step we're taking." She admitted to being surprised by her own relaxed attitude during the planning process, adding, "I always imagined I’d be a bit of a control freak and would want to micromanage everything, but it’s been the complete opposite! I’ve surprised myself by being pretty laid-back throughout the planning."

"We're stepping into the new year as husband and wife, surrounded by all the joy, laughter, and warmth we could hope for," Jheel told ETimes, expressing her excitement for what she calls their "greatest adventure yet."

When asked about her 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' co-stars attending the wedding, Jheel confirmed that while the ceremony will be an intimate family affair with close friends, she will invite her TMKOC colleagues to the reception.
