New Delhi: Sony SAB’s ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ is one of the most loved shows on Indian television. The sitcom will complete 11 successful years on July 28 this year. The characters of the show, be it Jethalal, Dayaben or Tappu have became quite popular among the viewers. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the return of Dayaben aka Disha Vakani in the show. The beautiful actress is on a maternity break since the birth of her daughter. Speculations were rife that the makers of the show would replace Disha Vakani as Dayaben. However, it was said that Disha contacted an official from the production house and she might make a comeback to TMKOC. As per the latest buzz, the actress is waiting for the producer Asit Modi to return back from his vacation. A report in a leading daily even suggested that Disha might return to the show soon. Yes, you heard that right. Disha might return to the show on May 18, the report in Mid-Day said. Amidst the hullabaloo, Disha posted a picture with her TMKOC co-star Neha Mehta, who plays the role of Anjali in the show. She captioned the picture as, ''Daya with Anjali.''

Gossip mills were earlier buzzing with the rumours that the produce rof TMKOC had given a 30-day ultimatum to Disha to return back to the show. Soon, rumours of Disha getting replaced started floating on the internet. It was said that Ami Trivedi would play the new Dayaben but the actress refuted the rumours and denied being approached by the makers.
