Ekta Kapoor has strongly reacted on a complaint filed against her and 7 other people in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput's death in a court in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur.

Taking to her Instagram account, Ekta shared a news of the case filed against her and wrote that she's highly upset and can't believe that a case has been filed against her when she actually launched him.

For the uninitiated, It was television producer Ekta Kapoor, who gave the late star his first break in TV soap 'Pavitra Rishta,' alongside actor Ankita Lokhande.

His performance as the lead character, Manav Deshmukh was met with humongous applause, enabling his stature as a household name for a TV actor. He went to receive several television awards for the performance.

Ekta also attended Sushant's funeral on Monday and got all teary-eyed as she bid final farewell to the actor at the crematorium.

Sushant's last rites were performed by his father and two sisters at Pawan Hans Crematorium on June 15. His friends from the industry, including Kriti Sanon, Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Mukesh Chhabra, Vivek Oberoi and more, were present at the crematorium to say their final goodbyes.
