South Korean Singer IU Is Dating Actor Lee Jong Suk, Confirms Agency
Lee Jong Suk and IU have been allegedly dating for approximately four months now.
New Delhi: Lee Jong Suk, best known for his role in Korean drama 'Pinocchio', and singer-actor IU are dating. A friend who stated that Lee Jong Suk and IU have been dating for approximately four months was quoted in Dispatch, and their agencies later verified their relationship.
HighZium Studio, the acting agency for Lee Jong Suk, issued a statement in response to the dating rumours. As quoted by Soompi, the statement read, “Hello. This is HighZium Studio. This is an official statement regarding the exclusive article about actor Lee Jong Suk. Actor Lee Jong Suk and IU recently progressed from being close acquaintances into being a couple, and they are maintaining a serious relationship.”
Additionally, the 'While You Were Sleeping's actor company requested fans to show more love for the couple. “Please show lots of support so they can continue their beautiful relationship. Thank you,” they said.
On the other hand, k-pop singer IU's agency EDAM Entertainment also commented on the matter. “IU and Lee Jong Suk recently progressed from being close acquaintances into a good relationship. We ask for the warm reception of fans,” they said.
According to reports, Lee Jong Suk and IU spent this Christmas together in Nagoya, Japan. The trip was apparently personally organised by Lee Jong Suk, who is also believed to have flown IU and her younger brother to Japan first. Dispatch also shared images of Lee Jong Suk and IU at the airport while they were travelling to and from Nagoya.
