New Delhi: Shark Tank India Season 2 is seeing a variety of products and pitches; some of which continue to impress judges with their stories and development. On the latest episode of Shark Tank 2, we saw the founder of an apparel brand called ‘Snitch’ impress judges with his passion, clarity of thought and the future prospect of his business.
In fact, the Snitch pitch was so impressive that all five sharks decided to invest in the brand which aimed to target the audience of brands like H&M and Zara.
Another fitness-wellness product Portl despite not being profitable impressed judges with their unique product. All 5 judges offered to invest in their brand but the final offer by Namita Thapar, Peyush Bansal and Aman Gupta was accepted by the founders of Portl.
One highlight during the Portl pitch was when one of the co-founders shared that he played professional cricket, to which Aman Gupta said that he too played professional cricket. In the course of the discussion, when Aman Gupta asked to play cricket professionally, Peyush jokingly remarked that he would never turn up to play to which all the sharks laughed.
A pitch by Fat to Slim created quite an impression on sharks but all of them refused to invest because of ideological reasons. All 5 sharks asked the founder Shikha Aggarwal to not sell the kind of gimmicks which suggest that one can reduce weight by not exercising.
In the end, all 5 sharks opted not to invest in the brand.
