New Delhi: Here comes a shocking news for Colors top TV show 'Shakti' fans! According to the reports, one of the most important character will soon bid adieu to the show. Well, we are talking about actress Reena Kapoor. The actress who is seen as Rubina Dilaik aka Saumya's mother Nimmi, has decided to quit the show. The makers of 'Shakti' have planned an interesting climax to end her character. In the upcoming episodes, Preeto (Kamya Punjabi) will plan Saumya's (Rubina Dilak) kidnapping and as Nimmi would be informed about her daughter Saumya's abduction, she will suffer a heart attack and die. And this is how her character will end in 'Shakti'. While talking to leading entertainment portal Tellychakkar, Reena confirmed the news and said, “Yes, with a heavy heart, I bid adieu to Shakti. After Woh Rehne Waali, this will be one character that will remain with me forever. Nimmi has been a strong and loving mother, and I have been living the character in my own way from the beginning. It was my decision to let go the character.” “My husband is moving to USA for work and will be there for the next 11 to 12 months. I did not want to be here alone. So I had talked about it with the production house, about relieving me. This was not an overnight decision at all; I thought about it for quite sometime and then decided to move out of Shakti. I will be travelling to USA with my husband in December, "the actress further added. When asked about the beautiful phase of being part of Shakti, she averred, “The journey has been very nice. As I said, this was a very tough decision to make, considering that I had given life to it from scene one.” Reena also said that the co-stars are family to her, “I will miss everyone a lot. I was very close to Roshni (Sohuta), Rubina (Dilaik), my on-screen mother and Ayub Khan. We gelled exactly like a family. On the professional front, I will miss my character of Nimmi.” The actress also expressed her gratitude towards the channel and production for not replacing her character. She said,  “I was actually having my fingers crossed, as I did not want any replacement for my character. I have played it the way I found best. The character is very close to my heart. I would have always wished for the character’s death. And I am thankful that my character dies with my exit.” Reena also opened up about her future plans and said that presently she is looking forwars to USA trip. When she will come back she will pick up another good character.
