RIP Sameer Sharma: Gurmeet Choudhary, Nakuul Mehta, Mouni Roy & Other TV Celebs Mourn His Death

The 44-year-old actor was found hanging from his kitchen ceiling at his place in Mumbai. Gurmeet Chaudhary, who worked with Sameer Sharma in 'Geet Hui Sabse Parayi', expressed shock over his demise.

New Delhi: TV actor Sameer Sharma, last seen in Shaheer Sheikh and Rhea Sharma starrer ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’, was found hanging at his Malad home on Wednesday (August 5) night. The tragic news of his demise has sent shock waves across the TV industry which is still mourning the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Sameer acted in many popular shows including ‘Jyoti’, ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon- Ek Baar Phir’ and ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’, to name a few. Several small screen celebs including Gurmeet Chaudhary, Nakuul Mehta and Kritika Kamra took to social media to mourn his demise. Gurmeet Choudhary, who worked with Sameer in Star One's 'Geet-Hui Sabse Parayi', tweeted, "Goodbyes hurt the most, when the story was not finished....RIP #SameerSharma." The 'Punar Vivah' actor shared stills from the show co-starring Drashti Dhami.

'Ishqbaaaz' actor Nakuul Mehta wrote, "Never knew him personally. Hope he finds his peace. These have been extremely hard months for everyone. If this doesn't make us introspect on our own conduct & heart, don't know what will."

'Naagin' fame Mouni Roy offered condolences to the late actor's family. "Rest in peace, Sameer Sharma. Condolences to the family," the 'Brahmastra' actress wrote on the micro-blogging site. "I hope they let you rest in peace Sameer Sharma," Kritika Kamra tweeted.

Vatsal Sheth, who worked with Samir Sharma in 'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke', is in a state of shock. He wrote, "Absolutely shocked to hear that Samir is no more...we used to chat about so many things...You always had a smile on your face...cant believe you are gone."

Aamir Ali tweeted,"Don’t know Wat to say.. #RIPSameerSharma hope ur in a better place my friend."

'Bigg Boss 12' contestant Karanvir Bohra wrote, "What is happening to people, why why why are they doing this .... Rest in peace brother." According to a report in ANI, Sameer Sharma was found hanging from his kitchen ceiling at his home in Mumbai. A case of accidental death has been registered and actor's body has been sent for autopsy. No suicide note was recovered from the spot. We extend our deepest condolences to Sameer Sharma's family.
