Kushal Tandon who is currently seen in ALT Balaji web series 'Hum' opposite Karishma Sharma and Riddhima Pandit just joined the celebrities who are mourning the sad demise of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee today and the actor shared a throwback picture of his Dad Billu Tandon posing with Atalji at a function years ago. Kushal's father got involved in a controversy during son's participation in 'Bigg Boss 7' when show's host Salman Khan lashed out at the contestant for using 'unfair' means to stay inside BB 7 house. ALSO - When Kushal lied saying he was Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon's nephew! WATCH VIDEO! 5 years ago in 2013, Salman Khan during the Sunday episode of Bigg Boss 7, had exposed on camera how Kushal's father had planned to get his son extra votes. Salman had showed a clip of Kushal telling Gauhar Khan(who he had proposed inside the house and the two dated for some months to follow) how his father has hired a telephonic service in Lucknow that sends a voice message to lakhs of people to vote for his son on Bigg Boss. Salman was furious and later it was reported that Kushal's father was upset with the superstar's attitude towards his son and he reportedly even tried to speak to Salman contacting the channel which obviously never happened.

Kushal's family stays in Lucknow and as per the info on the web, Kushal's father has transport and oil business and he is the president of transport union in Uttar Pradesh.(old info!) Coming back to the picture of late Atalji with Kushal's father.. that looks like from a function where the the latter's is seen welcoming the former whose is all smiles with garlands around his neck. The picture is sure a beautiful throwback to Atalji's active days and we also extend our condolences to his family and pray that may his soul rest in peace!
