Ram Kapoor's Father Passes Away, Wife Gautami Shares Emotional Post

Amul also paid a tribute to Ram Kapoor's father Anil Kapoor on social media.

Ram and Gautami shared posts to mourn his father's demise

Popular TV actor Ram Kapoor, who is fondly known for his role in ‘Bade Ache Lagta Hain’ opposite Sakshi Tanwar, is grief stricken as he has lost his father. Ram’s father Anil Kapoor passed away on April 12, 2021. Anil Kapoor, a business tycoon, left for his heavenly abode at the age of 74. He was the former CEO of a leading advertising agency.  

Ram shared Amul’s tribute to his father on his official Instagram handle and thanked the company for the gesture. The ‘Kasam Se’ star said that he was speechless after seeing the heartfelt tribute. 

“Truly speechless at the tribute that Amul has made for my father. You were a true legend dad. I miss you so much. Rest in peace,” Kapoor wrote on Instagram. 

The likes of Drashti Dhami, Jennifer Winget and Karanvir Bohra dropped comments on the post and offered their condolences. 

Ram’s wife Gautami Kapoor penned an emotional post for her father-in-law on social media. She wrote, “Dad ... you live in our hearts forever ...... RIP ... to the strongest, toughest man I ever knew.. love you.” 

On the professional front, Ram Kapoor was recently seen in Abhishek Bachchan starrer ‘The Big Bull’. The Kookie Gulati directorial co-starring Ileana D’cruz premiered directly on Disney+Hotstar on April 8, 2021. The movie is based on the life of Harshad Mehta, who was involved in several financial crimes. 

Ram also received praises for his performance in Mira Nair’s ‘A Suitable Boy’. The television drama also starred Ishaan Khatter, Tabu, Rasika Duggal and Mahira Kakkar in key roles.
