Omji Maharaj comes out of 'Bigg Boss' house to appear in Delhi Court

New Delhi: Self-proclaimed godman and the contestant of the controversial reality TV show "Bigg Boss" season 10 -- Swami Omji Maharaj -- stepped out from the house to appear before a Delhi court on Saturday in pursuance of arrest warrant issued against him in a bicycle theft case. Sources confirmed IANS that Omji Maharaj had to leave the house for the court hearing and attend proceedings. However, it is not yet sure whether he will rejoin the contestants in the "Bigg Boss" house or not. Omji appeared before Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Satish Kumar Arora, who has issued a non-bailable warrant against him thrice after he failed to turn up. The court, however, cancelled the non-bailable warrant against him, asking him to pay Rs 30,000 for not complying with its order. The court in October had issued first non-bailable warrant against Omji. Two other warrants were issued in last month after he failed to appear before court despite repeated calls. The court has fixed February 4 as next date of hearing. A complaint was registered against Vinodanand Jha alias Swami Omji by his brother Pramodh Jha in November 2008. Pramodh has alleged that Omji broke the lock of his bicycle shop in Lodhi Colony here along with three men and stole 11 bicycles, expensive spare parts, the sale deed of the house and important documents.
