New Delhi: The team of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Mumbai has arrested actor Armaan Kohli in the drugs case. They conducted a raid at the ‘Bigg Boss 7’ contestant’s residence and recovered a small quantity of cocaine from him.


A report of ANI reads, “Mumbai | NCB arrests actor Armaan Kohli in a drugs case, he will be presented before a city court today”.

Also, according to a Press Release by Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede, the NCB has booked Armaan Kohli u/s 21(a), 27(a), 28, 29, 30, & 35 of NDPS Act. The NCB arrested the actor after a long interrogation.


The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) also arrested one major drug peddler Ajay Raju Singh from near Haji Ali and recovered 25 grams of MD from him. Reportedly, the accused has been earlier involved in a 2018 case of ANC Mumbai wherein a huge quantity of Ephedrine was recovered. Armaan Kohli’s house was raided by the federal agency based on Ajay Raju’s statement and the latter has been arrested under 22b(a), 27A, 28, 29, 30, & 35 of NDPS Act.


The Press statement released by Sameer Wankhede also revealed that the case has international linkages as the cocaine seized has South American origin. NCB Mumbai is probing the route and linkages used to bring the seized cocaine to Mumbai and the involvement of other traffickers. The investigation is underway.
