New Delhi: Popular TV actress Disha Parmar, who is fondly known for playing the role of Pankhudi in ‘Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara’ opposite Nakuul Mehta, has tested positive for COVID-19. The talented actress took to her Instagram story to inform her fans that she has been diagnosed with novel Coronavirus.

“As they say, there is no right timing for bad time. Being positive never was so awful,” Disha wrote on her Insta story. Fans have flooded her social media handles with get well soon messages after seeing her post. Check it out!

Disha, while talking to a leading daily, revealed that her mother tested positive for COVID-19 ten days back. She said that her mother is recovering. The ‘Who Apna Sa’ actress added that she underwent a Coronavirus test after she developed symptoms. Unfortunately her results came out as positive.



"I am almost asymptomatic. I just have a little soreness in the throat and feel fatigued. We were following up with my mother's medical treatment and I also got it," Disha told Times Of India’.

The beautiful actress also revealed that she is observing home quarantine like her mother.

On the professional front, Disha Parmar has been missing from the small screen since her Zee TV show ‘Who Apna Sa’ went off air. She is rumoured to be dating ‘Indian Idol’ fame Rahul Vaidya’. The two alleged lovebirds are yet to confirm their relationship.

‘Shaadi Mubarak’ actress Rajeshwari Sachev and ‘Santoshi Mata’ actress Ssara Khan have also tested positive for COVID-19. The likes of Parth Samthaan, Rajesh Kumar and Mohena Kumari Singh have full recovered from novel coronavirus after getting diagnosed with the virus.
