After playing 'RadhaKrishn', Shivya Pathania & Himanshu Soni to now play Sita-Ram in Colors' 'Luv Aur Kush'!

After working together in Star Bharat's hit show 'RadhaKrishn', actors Shivya Pathania & Himanshu Soni are set to reunite again for upcoming Colors show.

TV actor Shivya Pathania and Himanshu Soni, who was seen as grown-up 'Radha' and 'Krishna' in the first episode of Star Bharat's Sumedh Mudgalkar and Mallika Singh starrer 'RadhaKrishn', are all set to reunite again onscreen. The talented actors have been roped in to be a part of upcoming mythological show on Colors. Himanshu and Shivya will now be seen playing 'Ram' and 'Sita' in 'RadhaKrishn' maker Siddharth Kumar Tewary's Colors show titled 'Luv Aur Kush' which will be based on well-known epic 'Ramayana'. Confirming the same, Shivya told a leading daily that, "I have lost around eight kilos for this role. We have also started attending horse riding and action classes. I did not do any reference work, because I wanted to live and believe in the world that our storytellers have created. The story of Ramayana is well-known, but it could be presented from a different perspective." Shivya Pathania (Photo: Instagram) Himanshu Soni, who has played various gods in his previous shows, is excited to portray the role of 'Ram' in 'Luv Aur Kush'. He said, "I had said that I would avoid playing mythological characters, and even tried to stick to that decision. I was offered regular shows, but I realised that the canvas of the mythological shows I have been part of, are huge. They offer a larger-than-life experience. Once you shoot in that set-up, you find other genres restricting. As an artiste, you always aspire to do something bigger and better than your last project, and 'Luv Aur Kush' seemed perfect at this point." On being asked about his reunion with Shivya onscreen, he further told TOI that, "We share great on-screen chemistry, which was appreciated on 'RadhaKrishn'. Another advantage is that we featured in just one episode as Radha and Krishna, so it won’t be a challenge to establish ourselves as Ram and Sita." Whereas, Shivya Pathania made her TV debut opposite Harshad Chopda in Sony TV's 'Humsafars' and went on to feature in various shows like 'Ek Rishta Saajhedari Ka', 'Vikram Betaal Ki Rahasya Gatha' among others. She is currently dating her ' Ek Rishta...' co-star Kinshuk Vaidya. Stay tuned for more updates related to 'Luv Aur Kush'!
