Kasautii Zindagii Kay: Parth Samthaan TALKS about his chemistry with Erica Fernandes, playing the new Anurag & a LOT MORE!

Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ has become the talk of the town ever since Shah Rukh Khan introduced Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan as Prerna & Anurag. The introduction promo of Kasauti 2 created ripples on social media and fans couldn’t help but gush over the couple.  ‘Who is playing Anurag Basu in KZK 2?’, was a question which remained on everyone’s mind until the promo revealed Parth is playing the lead character in the show. The actor, who won millions of hearts with his portrayal of Manik in ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan’, has opened up on working with Erica Fernandes in Kasautii, playing Anurag and a lot more, while talking to an entertainment portal. The few glimpses from the promo showed that Parth and Erica share a good chemistry as Anurag and Prerna and the actor revealed that he shot for a scene with her first and later the promo. ‘’Erica is a wonderful person to work with, we met and gelled around. She is very helpful and co-operative. Later, I got to know she has also come from a show which had a lot of romance and did wonders which is really good. Also, she is very experienced when it comes to acting. It is great to learn a couple of things here and there and there is a long way to go,’’ Parth told Pinkvilla. WATCH: Ekta Kapoor REVEALS why she chose Parth & Erica as new Anurag-Prerna Talking about their chemistry, Parth told the portal, ‘’To be honest, I just believe it is a chemistry between a couple who is in love and besides that, it is up to the audience to decided/judge if they are liking the chemistry between the couple and whether they want to watch the love story.’’ The handsome actor also talked about how he bagged the show. ‘’I got a call from Balaji regarding this while I was in America but when I got to know that I have been finalised to be a part of the show I basically went on to recollect all the memories related to show, what I had seen during my childhood. The next thing I called my parents to inform them and they said go for it. I told Balaji that it is a big project and I am excited and then when I came back we met and we finalised pretty quickly,’’ Parth told the portal. Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 will hit the airwaves from September 25 on Star Plus at 8pm slot. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to promote the show and they recently unveiled 23 feet 'Statue of Love' in 10 cities.
