TV actress Shweta Tiwari, best known for portraying the lead role of 'Prerna' in Ekta Kapoor's much-loved Star Plus show 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay', got married to actor Abhinav Kohli on 13th July 2013. But, seems like Shweta and Abhinav's marriage has hit a rough patch. The couple, who welcomed their son Reyansh on November 27 in 2016, are reportedly having problems in their marriage since an year and the latest reports suggest that the actress was at a police station yesterday (11th August) along with her mother and daughter Palak.

There was a constant buzz that things are not going well in Shweta & Abhinav's married life but the actress never reacted on the same. Whereas, Abhinav always denied it but seems like things have worsened now.

Reportedly, Abhinav has been accused of domestic violence recently slapped Palak and he was under the influence of alcohol when this incident took place. Later, Abhinav was interrogated by police in Shweta & Palak's presence for nearly 4 hours.

According to an entertainment portal, "A report has been filed against, Abhinav and which read that the 38 yrs had abused in filthy language to Shweta's daughter, Palak who is Abhinav's step-daughter."

The Bollywood Life report further states that, "Shweta accused Abhinav of outraging the modesty of her daughter by passing very obscene comment and showing her obscene model's photo in his mobile since October 2017. For the same, an offense under section No.342/19 u/s 354-A, 323, 504, 506, 509 IPC r/w 67-A IT act is registered against Abhinav Kohli at Samta Nagar Police station. The actor has been arrested and investigations are being made related to the case."

However, the actress is yet to react on the same.

On a related note, Shweta Tiwari was previously married to actor Raja Chaudhary. Shweta even participated in the dance reality show 'Nach Baliye 2' with him. Later, Shweta & Raja got separated after she accused him of domestic violence. Shweta got divorced in 2007 with Raja.

Now, Abhinav Kohli too has been accused of domestic violence and it is indeed a disheartening news for her fans.

On the career front, Shweta Tiwari became a household name after 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' and went on to be a part of many popular shows like 'Naaginn', 'Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao', 'Bigg Boss 4', 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa', 'Parvarrish – Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi' among others and was last seen in 'Begusarai'.

She is making her digital debut with ALTBalaji's upcoming web-series reportedly titled 'Hum Tum and Them' co-starring Akshay Oberoi, Aashika Bhatia, Bhavin Bhanushali among others.
