New Delhi: TV actress Somya Seth, who is fondly known for her role as Navya opposite Shaheer Sheikh in Star Plus’ ‘Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal’, shocked her fans when she hinted through her post that she suffered domestic violence and her marriage had hit a rough patch.

Somya Seth tied the knot with Arun Kapoor in January 2017 and the couple welcomed their first child in November 2017. The beautiful actress, who keeps on sharing pictures with her son Ayden, posted a new photo with her baby boy along with an inspiring message.

The caption for the post read, ‘’ Dream so bigggggg that......... its challenges you! Scares you! Makes you happy!! Fills your heart!! Feel teary eyed with gratitude!! That kinda dream. Absolute waterfall of positivity and happines and possibilities.’’

Somya had shared a photo with her son Ayden three months back on Instagram. She captioned the picture as, ‘’ Strong and Beautiful Forever.’’


Somya had earlier penned a long note, hinting that she faced domestic violence. Her post sent shudders down everyone’s spine.

"8 years ago when I took up Navya I was 21 years old girl... wanted the world to believe in love !!! Wanted to heal the world with love !! I believed everyone deserves love and to be loved. I was in my own country. I lived with my parents who protected me from everything evil. I have grown up - I have seen violence, I have seen illicit drugs (including coccaine), I have seen hate, I have seen jealously, I have seen injustice, emotional manipulation’s and physical abuse! I have seen Beautiful Faces with ugly hearts. People who look well but are sick in heart and mind," Somya wrote.

"8 years after doing Navya I believe- Prince Charming is the most trashy concept as of today!! Girls just need to listen to their own hearts and believe that they are a women with substance and their happiness should not depend on any guy. Today I can tell being honest is expensive and worthless and painful and stupid. All that being said Navya was a beautiful dream and I am grateful that I got a chance to live it for few days!! Some of the Most memorable days of my life !! Grateful forever!! Amm ladki ki Khaas Kahaani!!," she further added.


On the professional front, Somya Seth was last seen in 'Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat' opposite Mohit Raina. She also worked in shows like 'The Serial' and 'Dil K Nazar Se Khoobsurat'.
