'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii' Actress Shweta Basu Prasad Announces Separation From Rohit Mittal Days Before First Wedding Anniversary
Shweta Basu Prasad, seen in shows like 'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii' and 'Chandra Nandini', announced her separation with her hubby.
New Delhi: National award-winning actress Shweta Basu Prasad, who tied the knot with Rohit Mittal on December 13, 2018, has announced her separation from the filmmaker. The Bengali beauty shared a post on Instagram in which she said that the couple mutually decided to part ways and end their marriage. The actress announced the news with their fans just few days before their first wedding anniversary.
“Hi everyone, Rohit Mittal and I have mutually decided to part ways and end our marriage. After months of contemplation, we arrived at this decision few months ago in each other's best interest, as individuals. Not every book is supposed to be read cover to cover, that doesn't mean the book is bad, or one can't read. Some things are better left unfinished. Thank you Rohit for irreplaceable memories and always inspiring me. Have a great life ahead, forever your cheerleader," Shweta’s post read.
Shweta and Rahul got hitched according to Bengali and Marwari rituals. The couple hosted a wedding reception for their industry friends. Ishaan Khatter, Sakshi Tanwar, Vishal Bharadwaj and other TV & Bollywood celebs attended the reception party. Shweta shot to fame as a child artist with the film ‘Makdee’, which got her a National Award for Best Child Artist.
