'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' remake: Varun Sood as one of the MALE LEADS in Ekta Kapoor's show?

After 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' reboot version & 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' spin-off titled 'Yeh Hai Chahatein', soap-queen Ekta Kapoor is now planning to make TV adaptation of Karan Johar's blockbuster film 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor. The fans have already started speculating about the star cast of the TV adaptation. According to India Forums, "Varun has apparently been locked on to play one of the leading roles, and it seems it would be that of the younger brother (played by Hrithik Roshan)." After 'Roadies', he also participated in 'MTV Splitsvilla 9' and emerged a the first runner-up. He turned VJ with 'MTV Campus Diaries' along with Benafsha Soonawalla. Apart from reality shows, Varun also made his acting debut with 'MTV Big F' season 2 in which he was cast opposite ''Ishqbaaz' actress Mansi Srivastava. But few months ago, during an Instagram live session, Benafsha refused dating Varun [READ HERE...].
