Is ‘Daya ben’ aka Disha Vakani QUITTING Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah? Here is the TRUTH

New Delhi: Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the most popular SAB TV show. Even after so many years, show has still managed its place in Top 5. But fans were quite sad as there were strong speculations that Disha Vakani aka Daya ben will quit show. For those who don’t know, Disha is on a maternity leave and hasn’t returned to the show yet. As per source of an entertainment portal, “We are in touch with Disha to start the shoot. But she has yet not given a nod. Considering her baby is very small, production is willing to be understanding in terms of timing and schedule, like we were in the final months of her pregnancy. But she wants to focus more on her personal commitments at the moment.” But Producer of the show Asit Kumar Modi made it clear that Disha is not quitting the show. While talking to TOI, he said, “"The shooting conditions are tough and since Disha's baby is still very young she needs her. We haven't discussed about her return yet and there is no official confirmation on Disha quitting Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma." Disha Vakani got married in year 2008 to businessman Mayur Padia and was blessed with a baby girl last year in November. Disha Vakani plays the role of ‘Daya ben’, wife of Jetha Lal aka Dilip Joshi on the show.
