New Delhi: Sukesh Chandrashekhar has been accused of money laundering, and the investigation into the matter continues. There have been reports that a number of celebrities met the accused con artist when he was posing as a film producer in Tihar jail. After giving her testimony in the matter before the Patiala House court in Delhi, Chahatt Khanna has recently spoken about the situation from her perspective.

Tv actress Chahatt Khanna said that she was "tricked" into seeing Sukesh in prison and that thereafter, she was engulfed in a web of falsehoods and threats.

Chahatt Khanna told ETimes article, "He said he was a fan of mine and had watched my TV show, Bade Acche Lagte Hain, and wanted to meet me. I was frantic and told him, ‘Why would you call me here? I have left my six-month-old baby at home and have come here thinking it’s an event.’ Then, before I knew it, he went down on one knee and said he wanted to marry me.”

She added, "I shouted at him, saying, ‘I am married and I have two kids.’ But he said my husband was not the right man for me and that he would be a father to my kids. I got so anxious that I started crying. I am a victim and have suffered and I want the world to know my side of the story."

In addition, Chahatt Khanna said that the event occurred a year prior to when she was contacted by the ED.

Earlier this week, actress Nora Fatehi also turned witness in the extortion and money laundering case and gave her statement in court in Delhi. She claimed in her statement that the con artist had promised her a large home and a high-class lifestyle if she would become his girlfriend.

Sukesh has also alleged that Nora Fatehi sent him images of ''expensive bags and jewellery', which, according to Sukesh, were gifted to her and she uses till date.
