New Delhi: ‘Ali Baba Dastaan-E-Kabul' star Sheezan Khan was taken into custody on December 24 after his ex-girlfriend and co-star Tunisha Sharma committed suicide on the sets. The relatives of the late actress alleged Sheezan for aiding her suicide. After being held in jail for two months, the Vasai court in Maharashtra granted Sheezan bail on March 4. Recently, the court was asked to release Sheezan's passport so that he could continue filming for ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 13’ overseas until July. Tunisha’s mom Vanita Sharma spoke to the media and expressed her dissatisfaction with the narrative these TV channels promote.

Tunisha's mother came out against the court's ruling and criticised the show's producers and the network for approaching an actor who is now on trial for allegedly aiding and abetting a suicide victim. She told the ANI news agency, “I have heard that Sheezan has been offered reality shows, including ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi‘. What message are these channels wanting to impart to society by giving a chance to someone undertrial for a serious offence u/s 306 of IPC and against whom the police have submitted a chargesheet of 524 pages?”

She continued by saying people in need of work can perceive the criminal activity as a simple path into the film and television sectors. She warned that reality TV would teach kids and wannabe performers that breaking the law is the quickest way to make it big.

Vanita Sharma said, “Our children & aspiring actors will feel that committing crimes is the easiest way to get through these reality shows.”

As per reports, Rohit Shetty's stunt-based show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 13’ was scheduled to begin in May, with the premiere date set for July. However, the channel has not made any official announcements as of yet.
