Filmmaker Sandeep Singh took to Instagram to announce the show and reveal the star cast. Along with the post, he wrote, "The most prestigious show in India is making a comeback! We are proud to bring back the greatest show that celebrates our real heroes—'Fauji 2'. Join us on this incredible journey."

In a press release, Sandeep Singh shared his thoughts about 'Fauji 2'. He said, "We are bringing back one of the greatest shows ever seen on television, but in a new and interesting version. The 1989 'Fauji' gave us Shah Rukh Khan, who mesmerized the entire nation with his extraordinary energy and talent. With 'Fauji 2', I hope to recreate history and connect with every Indian, especially the youth."
Vicky Jain to Gauahar Khan: Star Cast of Fauji 2
As for the star cast of 'Fauji 2', 'Bigg Boss 17' fame Vicky Jain will be seen playing the role of Colonel Sanjay Singh. This marks Vicky’s acting debut. Actress Gauahar Khan will portray Lieutenant Colonel Simarjeet Kaur, a cadet trainer specializing in weaponry. Gauahar will be making her return to the small screen after a long break. Additionally, Ashish Bhardwaj, Utkarsh Kohli, Rudra Soni, Ayaan Manchanda, and Neel Satpura will also appear in important roles.
Title Track Sung by Sonu Nigam
'Fauji 2' will feature 11 songs, and its title track has been sung by Sonu Nigam. The series will be directed by Abhinav Parikh. While the release date of 'Fauji 2' has yet to be announced, the show will be aired on Doordarshan in Hindi, along with Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Punjabi, and Bengali.
