New Delhi: In the weekend episode, 'Bigg Boss 18' host Salman Khan addressed contestant Karan Veer Mehra's history of divorces and accusations of aggressiveness. Salman sparked the uproar by playing a tape from the show's grand launch night, in which Afreen Khan, another contestant, said that Karan could be aggressive. Afreen said “Karan Veer is going to be the biggest trouble. I think he is an aggressive person, he can be violent, maybe even to the opposite sex. He will fight anything for identity.”

Sara, Afreen's wife, added fuel to the flames by naming Karan as the "most rude" contestant. As the controversy heated up, Karan sat down to defend himself.

Salman Khan wanted to know whether Karan's ex-wives had ever gone to the police or accused him of being violent. Responding confidently, Karan said, "No Sir."

Karan Veer Mehra On Hitting Ex-Wives

Inside the home, Arfeen tried to explain his prior claims, while Karan said, "In my entire being with both my ex-wives, I've never raised my hands on any of them. Of course, we got into arguments, bohot kuch hua hai (many things have happened). But aisa nahin hua ki FIR hogaya aur maine maara (But it didn't happen that an FIR was filed and I hit them)."

For the unversed, Karan married his high school sweetheart, Devika Mehra, in 2009, but the pair split up in 2018. He then married television actress Nidhi Seth in 2021, albeit their marriage lasted barely two years.

Karan Veer Mehra has been nominated for eviction this week from ‘Bigg Boss 18’ along with Chaahat Pandey, Gunaratan Sadavarte, Avinash Mishra, and Muskan Bamne. However, to everyone’s surprise, there were no eliminations in the first week of ‘Bigg Boss 18’.

Time Ka Taandav is the theme for this year's Bigg Boss, which airs on Colours TV and JioCinema.
