Former Bigg Boss contestant Mandana Karimi recently shared her then and now picture collage on social media which apparently backfired for her! The actress who looked totally unrecognizable in her throwback pic was brutally trolled on social media, for her choice of photos to highlight the passage of time.


For the collage, Mandana chose one of her latest pictures, in which she can be seen dressed in aBaywatch-like red swimsuit along with a picture of herself with a hijab taken when she was in Iran.

And while the picture definitely spoke a thousand words describing that the actress has come a long way a section of the Internet was not really impressed and criticised her choice of pictures. "I don't really get the photo comparison... I really respected you before because of your struggles but now I think you're shallow," read a comment. "This can't be an inspiration. People can succeed on earth even with a hijab... Wearing bikini after hijab can't be the key to success."

On a related note, Mandana has lost oodles of weight and has undergone drastic transformation after her Bigg Boss stint. The star went through a lot in the past one year from injuries to a broken marriage.

Mandana Karimi's marriage hit a rough patch last year, barely after five months of their nuptials, when her husband and his family allegedly abused her and kicked her out of her marital home. However the actress is doing great as of now.

Apart from Bigg Boss 9 she has acted in movies like Kya Kool Hain Hum 3, Main Aur Charles and Bhaag Johnny.
