Akashdeep later participated in Bigg Boss, season 5 in 2011 and had an ugly spat with Bigg Boss host Salman Khan. He had now accused Salman of hitting him on the show and also demoralizing him.

Bigg Boss has revived careeres of many TV stars, from Karishma Tanna, Upen Patel, Gautam Gulati to Shweta Tiwari and many more. But Akashdeep Saigal also known as SKY is regretting his decision to sign on Bigg Boss.

On being asked whether he had moved on from the infamous spat he had with Salman Khan on Bigg Boss?: "Totally," adding, "But I don't know if he has. I never hired any PR to destroy a career. I don't have a petty mind. I don't take 10 people along with me to make myself seem more powerful," he told.
Totally cut out from the Hindi television and film industry, now Akashdeep is now returning to Tamil cinema after almost seven years in KV Anand's film.
