Dil Hi Toh Hai: Yogita Bihani bags lead role in 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' TV remake!
The much-awaited TV remake of iconic film 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' is in the news since the last few weeks now. Various popular names like Varun Sood, Mrunal Thakur, Erica Fernandes among others were said to be approached to play the lead roles in the remake of Karan Johar's much-loved film starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor in central characters. Recently, it was reports that 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2' fame Omkar Kapoor has bagged the lead role in the show. Now, the female lead is finalised too & actress Yogita Bihani has reportedly been signed to play 'Anjali' aka Kajol's role in the TV remake.

Yogita Bihani says it's a dream come true for her to get the role of Palak Sharma in producer Ekta Kapoors upcoming love saga "Dil Hi Toh Hai".
Yogita shot to fame when she appeared with superstar Salman Khan in the promo of the upcoming show "Dus Ka Dum".

"It is a dream come true for me. First, bagging a promo with Salman and now the czarina of Indian television, Ekta Kapoor's show," Yogita said in a statement. "It could not have been bigger than this. For any newcomer, bagging Ekta's show is the biggest platform that one can get. I am super excited and equally nervous too," she added. Sharing more about her role, she said: "The role of Palak is that of a happy-go-lucky person with strong feminist opinions.
