'‘Chalte-Chalte’ actor Govind Khatri is NEW VILLIAN in TU AASHIQUI

New Delhi: Colors TV show ‘Tu Aashiqui’ has lately been in news for all the wrong reasons. Mother of Jannat Zubair aka Pankti lashed out at makers for planning a kiss scene between Jannat and Ritvik. Makers have also started looking for Jannat’s replacement but in between all this fiasco, a new character is going to enter the show. As per news in the portal, “If only the negativity of JD and Anita wasn't enough, the show will soon be witnessing the entry of actor, Govind Khatri.Veteran actor, Govind has been on the block for a long time and is known for his character roles in theater and films predominantly.” India Forums also reported, “Govind will be playing the role of Anita's (Gauri Pradhan) brother, which means Pankti's uncle. yes! He will be as cruel as Anita.” Govind Khatri has acted in Bollywood films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Chalte-Chalte and Zameen. On a related note, makers are in a very tight spot right now as actress who were being thougt of for the role  Pankti have bite the bait. TV actress Helly Shah, Tanya Sharma and Puja Banerjee are the actresses who refused to play the role.
