Bigg Boss 18: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is all set to confront entrepreneur and former 'Shark Tank India' judge Ashneer Grover in an upcoming episode of 'Bigg Boss 18'. A promo released shows Salman Khan addressing Grover's past remarks about him with a sharp rebuke during the Weekend Ka Vaar segment.

What Salman Khan told Ashneer Grover on Bigg Boss 18

In the clip, Salman begins by extending a customary welcome to Grover but quickly shifts gears, questioning the entrepreneur about his previous statements. “Maine aapke baare mein suna hai ki aapne mujhe sign kiya tha. Sab figures bhi aapne galat bataye. Toh phir yeh dogalapan kya hai? (I heard you talk about signing me and mentioning all the wrong figures. So what is this dogalapan?),” Salman confronts him.

Responding to Salman’s query, Ashneer says, “Aapko jo brand ambassador liya, I think that was one of the smartest moves (Making you the brand ambassador was one of my smartest decisions).”

However, Salman doesn’t let the matter rest and hits back with another sharp remark. “Yeh jo attitude ab hai, tab wahan nahi dikha tha (This attitude you are showing now wasn’t apparent back then),” he says, making it clear that he’s unimpressed.

Grover attempts to defend himself, stating that his comments were misunderstood and taken out of context. His remarks, which Salman referred to, stemmed from Grover’s appearance on the podcast 'Vagehra Vagehra' last year where he spoke about hiring and meeting Salman and another comment that he made during an event where he spoke about hiring Salman as brand ambassador and the amount the actor charged.

What Ashneer Grover had said about Salman Khan

For the uninitiated, in that interview, Grover opened up about his experience meeting Salman during discussions about a brand endorsement. He recounted: “Usko humne sponsor rakha tha, uske shoot ke liye mila tha, usko brief karne ke liye company ke baare mein. Teen ghante baitha tha uske saath, uske manager ne bol diya photo nahi khichwani, sir thoda bura maan jaate hain (We wanted him to endorse our brand, I met him for the ad shoot and spent three hours with him. His manager told me not to take a photo with him because he might get upset).”

Grover further added in the podcast, “Maine bola nahi khichwaunga photo, bhaad mein jaa tu, aisi kaunsi heropanti hogayi (I thought, ‘Fine, I won’t take a photo, he can go to hell. What’s so special about this attitude?’).”
