New Delhi: The engaging and controversial celebrity reality show 'Bigg Boss 16' has finally come to an end as MC Stan lifts the winner's trophy tonight along with bagging a cash prize of Rs 31 lakh 80 thousand. He also won a brand-new Hyundai car.
On Sunday, February 12, the highly dramatic celebrity reality programme 'Bigg Boss 16' came to an end with its season finale. For more than a decade, the Salman Khan-hosted show has been one of the most popular and widely seen programmes in India. There were five people vying for the top prize. This season’s five finalists were Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Shalin Bhanot, MC Stan, Shiv Thakare, and Archana Gautam, with MC Stan finally lifting the trophy and being crowned as the winner.

Rapper MC Stan managed to make his place in the top 5 by sticking to his mandali and supporting them. MC Stan has come a long way from the days of homesickness and awkwardness. At first, he didn't want to play the game or remain in the house since he didn't feel like he belonged there, but Salman Khan and Bigg Boss encouraged him to continue, which gave him a boost of confidence.
The final week of Bigg Boss included a special segment where the remaining contestants went through their entire journey in the house. They looked down on their cheering admirers from a balcony and were visibly moved by the experience.
During the Bigg Boss 16 finale, Shalin becomes the first one to get eliminated. After the eviction, Ekta Kapoor offered Shalin Bhanot the lead role in her next drama, 'Bekaaboo'. On hearing the offer, Shalin beams with excitement and declares that he is available to do the show immediately. MC Stan's win put an end to months of drama, competition, and entertainment.
In addition to dance performances by the finalists, the final night included a stand-up performance by Bharti Singh and Krushna Abhishek.
After Shalin Bhanot, Archana Gautam gets eliminated from Bigg Boss 16 too. She gets very emotional after her eviction.
